RBPF Celebrates 57 Years of Women in Policing

On Tuesday 30th November 2021, in celebration of 57 years of women in policing under the theme “Past, Presence and Future”, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mrs. Loretta Mackey, along with a team of female officers appeared on ZNS Immediate Response Talk Show with host Mr. Spence Finlayson (seated in photo). The lineup of female officers highlighted their expertise, contributions and experiences in the organization; attributing their inspiration and successes to other female (and male) officers-current and retired. During the show Commissioner Paul Rolle, while in a meeting via zoom with his Senior Executive Leadership Team (SELT) and other senior officers throughout the Commonwealth of The Bahamas briefly streamed Immediate Response. The Show ended with a special musical rendition of “The Christmas Song” by Constable 3420 Ghandi Sherman.
